An Afternoon of Inspiration, Celebration, and Fun!

JAR of Hope invites you to a heartwarming community event – a special viewing party featuring the holiday film, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever", at the AMC Freehold 14 on November 17, 2024. This event will not only celebrate the upcoming holiday season but also raise awareness and support for JAR of Hope's mission to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

This fun and inspiring day will include:
  • A Screening of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"
    Directed by Dallas Jenkins (creator of         The Chosen), this delightful holiday movie is based on the classic story by Barbara Robinson. The film tells the tale of the Herdmans, a group of children who are the “worst kids in the history of the world,” and their unorthodox participation in a small town's annual Christmas pageant. What follows is a humorous and heartwarming lesson in community, acceptance, and the true spirit of Christmas.
  • Featured Appearances by Local Stars
    NJ’s own Mason Nelligan stars as Ralph Herdman. Plus, we'll honor the brave journey of Jamesy Raffone, a young boy battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and the inspiration behind JAR of Hope.
  • Special Screening of the JAR of Hope Documentary: "Climb for a Cure"
    Before the film, you'll also have the opportunity to see an exclusive screening of the JAR of Hope documentary, "    Climb for a Cure," chronicling the inspiring journey of founder Jim Raffone and his team as they climb the world’s highest peaks to raise awareness and funds for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
