About the Race

America’s high desert ultra in southern Utah!

Cutoff times: 50 hours (115 miles) and 20 hours (50 miles)

Both races will take you across some of the harshest desert terrain anywhere on the planet. Created by the founders of the world’s premier stage race, the Grand to Grand Ultra, UTAH 115 is brand new! It follows a large part of the Grand to Grand Ultra course and incorporates several of the key features of the world-famous stage race including: Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Hog Canyon, Cave Lakes Canyon, Cliffs Trail, Tom’s Canyon, Harris Mountain, Belly of the Dragon and Diana’s Throne.

Despite the race taking place in one of the remotest locations in America, the start and finish will take place in Kanab, possibly the coolest little town in southern Utah! This storied western town has a glamorous history and is fast becoming iconic in the trail running world. If you haven’t been yet, now is the time to try out some classy restaurants, stylish coffee bars, western shops, small town vibes and cowboy hospitality!
