Stephen Ingram – NYC Marathon 2018
My name is Stephen Ingram, a Financial Adviser, local to Red Bank and originally from Jackson, NJ. Along with running my own practice, I have always been an athlete and enjoy challenges of all sorts. Running and obstacle course races have become my passion due to the physical and mental strain one endures. I do not take my ability to be physically active lightly and in 2017, when I learned about Duchenne and JAR of Hope, I was brought to tears and heartbroken. The vicious attack on a child’s life and their ability to physically develop from Duchenne, must be stopped! Learning about Jamesy and the many other young children just like him got me thinking, how can I make a difference for them?! How can I turn the ability most of us take for granted into a monumental benefit for others? I am running in the New York City Marathon on November 4th to raise money and awareness for Duchenne and JAR of Hope, AND I NEED YOUR HELP! I hope you will join me and spread the word of this horrific disease and raise money to save these children’s lives! My goal is to have at least 1,000 people not only hear this message, but offer support. With your donation we can help find a cure.
