GUNN Surfboards  is running the NYC marathon to help find a Cure for a very rare disease and I need your help raising 10K. You can win one of 2 custom made surfboards.

Each entry is $10. You can enter as many times as you want. The more you enter the greater your chance of winning either board and the greater the chance of finding a cure.

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a savage disease that affects only a very small percentage of young boys and an even smaller number of young girls. There is no hope for those affected, with a limited life span and a very poor quality of life until the disease become terminal which is 100% for all afflicted.

There is no cure and nowhere near enough research being done to facilitate one. I am partnering with JAR of Hope. They are the most vocal, organized, and active catalysts to drive research to help fund a cure and to find alternative therapies to increase lifespan and overall comfort of those afflicted.

But they need help. They need assistance in raising funds to increase their role in being a catalyst for change. They are a certified non profit and all funds they raise go directly to finding cures for DMD.

So... I am donating two boards to JAR of Hope. The first board is pictured here.  The second one will be a board of your choice to be built by me to your exact specs (complementary shipping to continental US). I have pledged to raise a minimum of 10K.

Every bit helps.  I urge you to donate and to share this with your friends, family and colleagues.  Together, we can make a difference and find a cure.
