My name is Rich Bruno and I am asking for your support to help find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. DMD is a terminal illness; a muscle-wasting disease where there is no cure to date. Jamesy Raffone is a 7 year old boy who, along with roughly 120 other boys in the U.S., are affected by this horrible disease. I personally know his dad James and mom Karen, who I can tell you, have been tirelessly fighting to find a cure for their son. As a father of 3 children myself, I can only imagine what they must live through day in and day out.
They are counting on me, and us, to raise awareness and money to fight this incurable disease. So when I ask myself, “what can I do?”, the answer is a simple one – do whatever it takes, just like James and Karen Raffone do, to make a difference in Jamesy’s life.
As a result, I have pledged to run the NYC Marathon on November 6th, and as part of that pledge, also committed to raising a minimum of $5000. Please donate whatever you can, no matter what amount, to raise money and help find a cure. Thank you for your support.
